Rauj sighs, "I guess that's not the role he's looking to play..." He thinks as he looks towards Dethrial half-eyed. The yell of the drunkard pulls the thief's attention and he looks over, watching the scene between Jen and who he assumes is the bandit leader, go down; Jen's attempt to resist gagging as the man talked to him bringing a rather mischievous smile to his face. It faded quickly though as the leader attempted to shove a man simply trying to help. Rauj rolls his eyes and shifts to get up before noticing the larger bandit narrowing his eyes in a glare directly at him.
Rauj returns the gaze, though clearly less interested in the one staring, still he asks, "So. Who do you two work for? Whoever they are I can't imagine they'd be fool enough to tell you to hit this place. Tell me, are you two self impolyed? This your first gig? Cuz you're handling this all wrong..." He stands up, and as he does, he whips one of the forks in front of him at the wall near the lead bandits face, level with his eyes so he knew exactly what he could've hit, all in one fluid motion and so quickly it was only clear what happened once it had already occurred. "That... Was the only warning shot you get." Speaking loud enough that everyone in the room could clearly hear him. "...Its been a long night and all i want to do... Is sit down and have some breakfast in peace. Bad enough cuz of you two the guards are more than likely on their way, especially with all the happenings in this city lately, unless you're ill informed in that regard as well?" He makes sure to look directly at the bigger thug with that phrase, before shifting his attention back to the bandit he assumed led the group. "Leave. Now. This is the wrong inn to mess with and these are not the opponents you want to deal with. Keep messing around and that missing eye might turn into full-on blindness, with a few busted bones for good measure. He casually spins another knife he picked up off the table on his fingers then grips it as if ready to make another throw. Picked up during his threat, just as fast if not faster than the fork he had previously thrown.

Dethrial only seems to listen and watch as Jen make his move to try and remove the drunkard from the line of fire and the bandit leader reacts to try an stop them but is to slow and fails to halt Jen and his rescue mission. Dethrial felt his body tense up as every urge to help Jen was silenced because if he intervened his cover would be blown and instead walks over and picks up the drunk man under one arm and carries him behind the bar and raises his other hand to show he wasn't carrying any weapons. "Gentlemen, please calm down..."
At the same time J began to speak and distracts remain bandits with his usual witty banter until he seemed to get bold and made a thinly veiled threat and threw a fork into a wall a hairs breath from the bandit leaders head and then make a another threat. "Sir, please were trying to remain civil here please don't start anything that's going to end badly." Dethrial does best to look afraid of what could happen, but he had enough blind confidence in his friends that he had suppress a smile. I'm so happy you guys are here now...let's kick their asses. If the Innkeeper comes back with the food Dethrial is going to first grab the food and then make a motion for her hand him the knives if she brought any and then smiles to her. Thank you for cooperating with us.

When jen counters the bandit leader's attempt to shove him and the drunkard that only seems to frustrate the man more. The drunk doesn't seem to have any reaction at all, simply laying down where Jen left him until such a time he is picked up by dethrial.
The bandit leader is about to retaliate when Rauj catches his attention. "Whaddya mea-" he is about to say when the fork flies past his face and burrows itself into the wall with a satisfying twang. The drunk man, barely recognizing anything that's happening, lets out a drunken cheer. "Yhoooo." he says and raises his arms up, accidentally dropping his bottle to the ground and nearly sliding out of Dethrial's grip. The drunk man laughs to himself and dozes off.
The bandit leader looks over to the fork, briefly, turning somewhat pale. He then finally notices that one of his companions has gone missing. He seems to get all the more frustrated and yells at his last remaining companion instead. "What the hell are you guys even good for!" he says and looks over to Jen and Dethrial before looking back to Rauj. "Whatever! This place is a dump anyway!" he says and waves over his companion. They begin to leave in a huff with their ace card gone.

Jen released the tension in his shoulders with a sigh, as the two bandits fled the inn. There's a momentary silence in which Jen surveys the damage in the room. As he takes a few steps in a circle, he hears the crunch of broken glass beneath his boots. What a damn mess… Jen paces around before flipping a table back over. We should help her clean this up… I’ll wait until the innkeeper comes back at least. Getting back from that dream - Was it a dream? - was cause to celebrate, but this soured it slightly. Of course, Jen would've intervened had he been alone, but it brought to mind the larger situation. Here he had come to Leirotuet to find Winters for Sirius, yet he wrapped himself up in an ordeal that felt a bit too over his head. It wasn’t that he disliked the people he met, it was about his own priorities. He barely even knew anything about the “See-Elfan” to begin with. It all seemed like too much trouble for one man… Winters wasn't the only lead the two had, and as much as it irked Jen, he didn’t care to save him. He wouldn’t put some scientist over Sirius, or the search for his sister. The Hunter sighs a bit under his breath, not having paid much attention in the past 5 seconds. I should talk it over with her.
“Looks like you’ve been busy,” Jen says to Dethrial in a sarcastic, yet melancholic voice. His exhaustion had caught up to him, but he didn’t attempt to hide it. While hearing Deth’s potential reply, Jen moves to J’s table, rotates a chair 180 degrees, and takes his seat. “You’ll have to teach me how to throw like that.” he flashes a tired smile and chuckles a bit before resting his head on the chair.

Rauj rolls his eyes at the complaints of the ‘leader’ but says nothing more as he waves over his supposed companion. With their leave he relaxes slightly, and his mind trips back to their earlier threat, he has half a mind to follow them but relents, it wasn’t his problem anymore after all. Still he keeps the thought that they could be working for someone else in mind as he assesses the damage. “Eh. Not too bad, a bit of cleaning up and a few things might need to be replaced, but overall-" He glances at the fork in the wall, then quickly back towards the back area the innkeeper walked into, seeing no one as of yet, he briskly walks over and pulls the fork from the wall, stomach rumbling as he does so, before returning to the table he was stationed at, just as Jen began to take a seat. He looks over to Dethrial as well, beckoning him over. “Indeed, mind filling us in? I need to know how long we’ve been out, and what’s happened since then… where the heck is everyone, and what happened to the door… also what is that little thing wandering around the room?”
The thief makes a sideways glance at Jen as he asks and smirks, raising his eyebrows as he does so. “Heh, funny thing that. Learned it from a guy who called himself ‘The Blue Raja’… Not that he wore much blue… and he spoke with an odd forced accent that felt off… but never-mind all that, the important thing is that he called himself ‘the master of cutlery’… though he didn’t use knives… either way, he was actually pretty impressive otherwise, I could teach you a few things… For now though, I’m starving… and I’m pretty sure there were some potato treats in the room, before we left… probably cold now, but eh. Besides, might as well get… Sirius…” He pauses, staring back at Jen as he asks the next obvious question. “Does she eat… never-mind.” He continues upstairs, letting Sirius know the excitement is over before scooping up the fennel potatoes and heading back downstairs.

Dethrial felt his body slightly relax as the bandit leader loses his nerve after J's fork act and leaves quickly with his large companion in tow. It was only after a moment did Dethrial relax completely and look at his two companions, Jen gave only a more offhanded and sarcastic comment as he walked over to J and complemented him on his throw. Dethrial didn't respond immediately as a pang of sorrow pulled at his heart as the first words out his friends mouth seemed off tune to the mans normal attitude. He must still be feeling unwell...I hope J is feeling alright.
Dethrial then walks over to J and Jen with a soft smile, as J waves him over. "You two get enough beauty sleep?" Dethrial doesn't take a seat and instead stands with one eye on the door way. After hearing J speak, Dethrial remembers the words of the bandit and his face grows more serious. "We need to follow them now, and I can anwser all the questions on the way. I heard them say before you woke up that they were going to attack a bakery and rape the mans daughter if this place failed to deliver to their needs." Dethrial pauses for a moment to let them respond but keeps his face serious. Dethrial let a small smile crack though his stern face "You guys had me worried sick and I think Sirius to but she didn't show it."

Rauj steps upstairs for a moment to pick up the plate of food and notify Sirius of their well being. She seems to only blankly stare at him until he leaves.
As Rauj gets downstairs Sirius steps out from behind him with no prior giveaway that she had followed him downstairs. She peeks out from behind Rauj and gives a lethargic wave. She seems to be carrying everyone's bags with her.
When Dethrial brings up the matter of the bandits again sirius looks over to jen with a smug expression - her way of making fun of the foreigner for not understanding the concept of an empty threat. Sure she figures they would cause some kind of trouble but after this situation it was unlikely they would follow through on their promises. Regardless, she plops down the bag and gear of each of the groups members when the door to the kitchen flies open and an angry Innkeep stomps out of the room. "Alright!! Well... Here's your damned food, and you're lucky I didn't spit in it!" she yells and steps further into the Inn's main room as she balances various plates of food. She stops abruptly seeing the bandits have disappeared. "Huh." she then looks over to Dethrial with a smile. "Well then, ya did it!" she suddenly sounds a lot more cheery and she moves over to the table and puts down the food. "Hell, have these then. And your stay tonight is on the house!" she begins to head off before she stops again and then adds "Oh- And I really didn't spit in those..." Finally she leaves.
Sirius instinctively begins to name off the various foods on the plates for Dethrial. "...fennel potato... strawberry..." there are various vegetables, some fruits, and a few slices of meats and cheese on each plate alongside some scrambled eggs.
She stops at Jens plate and notes the juicy charred steak. She looks at him, expectantly drooling slightly, and he immediately knows what she wants.

“Eh, it wasn’t quite the kind of sleep I usually enjoy.” the Hunter replies in a humorous tone, keeping his head down and his eyes closed. J begins talking about the mystical “Blue Raja”, but to Jen it sounded like an awful joke. “No vegetables for her. I have her on a strict, meat-only diet.” he chided, now looking up and grinning in J’s direction.
As J returns with Sirius, Dethrial calls for the quartet to follow the bandits. “Thanks for carrying all that, S.” Jen says with a smile as he takes his bags from her overloaded hands. He notices her goofy expression before turning back to Dethrial. “Sorry to worry you both. Yeah, I’m not so sure they’d be willing to do anything drastic. The two main ones didn’t look intelligent enough to do too much damage.” Suddenly the door to the kitchen explodes open, with the innkeep swearing and making insanitary threats in exorbitant rage. “O-Oh.” Jen lets out in a hushed tone laced with fear. I’m surprised she didn’t scare them off herself. The innkeep strides over and places the plates on the table, declaring their next night free of charge. Jen starts to reply, “Ma’am, if we can help with the cleanup, please let us know. We’ll be glad to-” but the innkeep doesn’t hear him. She was likely too happy at the turnaround of events to pay much attention.
At the table, Sirius begins naming all the food on each plate, as she was known to do at times. She names several items before stopping at the delicious looking morsel on Jen’s plate - well-done slab of steak. Jen eyed his best friend, and then eyed his stomach’s best friend. This repeated twice over before he finally made his decision. Jen burst out in laughter before saying, “Go ahead, all yours. You earned it.” Jen slid his plate over so she could reach the steak, making sure not to ruin his perception of her innocence by looking the other way. As his friend snatched the meat off the plate, Jen donned a more serious tone. “So we need to talk about what happened. J and I were in some sort of vision… or at least I assume we both saw the same things, right?” he looked to J in question. After hearing J’s response, he will try to explain everything that he saw to the other two.

Before heading up, Rauj looks back when Jen responds. He pauses his ascent, looking at him half-eyed before smirking and rolling his eyes at his rather grim joke, before heading further upstairs. He also responds to Dethrial, "Terrible. Trust me."
As the thief comes back downstairs, already having popped a potato in his mouth, he waves off Dethrial's secondary concern. "Honestly its more than likely an idle threat, probably meant to provide more incentive to give them what they wanted." *smacks lips a bit as he chews* "'Give us what we want or the pretty lady gets it!' kinda thing.' *licks his fingers a few times* "The baker's place is in the market area, like they said," *more eating and smacking* "...and its broad daylight out there with the police force already on high alert? They're not gonna do a damn thing... if they're smart." *swallows with a relieved sigh* "...Even then, that's what the police are for..." As he finishes what he was saying Rauj slowly arches away from Sirius as she peeks out from behind him.
He glances at her with a raised eyebrow, shrugging and sighing as he slowly shakes his head, slightly amused by her antics. He finds himself a bit surprised at her strength though, carrying down each of the groups gear, his totem included. He places the plate down on the nearby counter and takes each of his things from her before retrieving said plate for more snacking. "Thanks." He says as he nods towards her, though she continues forward to plop down the rest of the bags. Just before the thief addresses the Alv's last concern, the inn-keep emerges from the kitchen in a huff to which even Rauj was weary of. Merely nodding as she grants them rewards for a job well-done. "... Right... well then..." He mutters in the moment of silence after Jen gets cut off by her departure. He puts his things aside, separately from the rest of the group's belongings, before pulling up another chair for himself and offering his old seat to Sirius. He pops a strawberry into his mouth before getting up again to grab some honey and powdered sugar as well as salt and pepper, hot-sauce... syrup... etc... before long he has an armful of condiments yet again as well as a bowl, and begins yet another concoction. He glances up at Jen when he hears his 'name' mentioned and shrugs, saying " Depends, Old 'cities', lots of water, strange robed nomads, and even stranger doll-like beings? If so, yea, if not, i have no idea what you're talking about..." -before dipping a fennel potato into his new mixture and chomping it.
He raps his fist against the table a few times, wincing in pleasure before uttering "... Gah... so, SO good~"

Dethrial huffs as the others tell him that the bandits were making empty threats and his worry was unfounded. "In my land people don't make such threats idly. And you are sure nothing will happen?" with that Dethrial paces till Sirius and J come down the stairs with J muching and Sirius carrying all the bags like some sort of pack beast.
Dethrial then walks over to Sirius and gives her a short bow as he picks up this things. "Thank you for carrying my things down, Sirirus."
The sudden sound of the innkeeper busting through the kitchen doors and cursing had Dethrial turn and was about to apologize when she congratulated him and placed the food on the table saying it was 'On the house' and their stay last was also free. "Thank you Miss-" Before he could finish his sentence the woman ran back into the back as happy as could be. Kindness has many benefits here too, might as well eat up. Dethrial sits down with the others as they spoke about what happened and watches Sirius almost drool over a stake on Jen's plate before he gave it to her. The very sight of it made Dethrial laugh till he could smell the concoction that J was making and his nose crinkled in defense and he makes an joking hand motion to blow away the smell. "Woah, it smells way worse up close, but do tell me of this dream quest you went on." As they are eating Dethrial draws a few different foods in one of this notebooks and adds detailed notes on them.
Dethrial then stops and remembers how the other thug left after he seemed to acknowledge J. "Hey J, your story of the ‘The Blue Raja’ reminded me on a story from my land called the 'The damned child' a child born of a demon and Voul woman who had to hide his identity from everyone but his adopted father and brother and if people know who he was it would bring trouble...there is a lot more to it but that just the beginning."

Upon the slightest acknowledgement by Jen that Sirius could have his steak she immediately wolfs it down with no regard of who or what is around her. Within seconds it's gone and she seems at least a little bit more energetic.
She continues to stand and watch the group as they recount their tale to dethrial.
Nothing of note happens, meanwhile, in the Inn.

Largely shrugging off J’s grotesque eating habits, Jen wondered about what Deth was trying to say. The relationship between the two stories seemed a bit too irrelevant to be a mere misinterpretation on Jen’s part. Perhaps Dethrial meant something by it, but Jen wasn’t quite able to follow. Shrugging it off, he takes a piece of fruit from one of the plates and listens to J’s confirmation.
The Hunter stares off into space in humorous disbelief, as J lists off all of the major points of the two’s… Escapade? Adventure? Could he even call it either of those? Dethrial labeled it a ‘quest’, but Jen wasn’t even sure there was something to quest for. He had just wanted to get home. If anything, it was a night terror. “That’s the gist of it,” he nodded in agreement with J. Jen further recounts everything the duo did up to their return, including the visions after touching the doll.
Looking back to Sirius to make sure she got all the details, Jen notices her eyes seem a bit brighter than usual. Jen smirks slightly at the change before continuing to talk to the rest of the table. “If I were to guess, whatever we saw was real, or at least one hell of a magic trick. If it was just me that experienced it, I’d write it off, but J was there too. It’s unlikely it was an isolated incident or chance.” Jen rests his chin in his right hand as he fiddles with one of his loose dreads. He carefully weighs his options before speaking again. That’s right… After all, I’m here for Fawn and Sirius. “This whole thing is a bit above my pay-grade, if I’m being honest.” While maintaining his position, he looks at J, and then Dethrial. “Sirius and I came here for Winters, but I don’t know where he’s been taken. Nor does it seem like he’s coming back anytime soon.” Jen glances at Sirius to see if she’s on the same page with him. “The group you all have going is nice but, and I mean no disrespect with this, I can’t really waste my time.” His minuscule annoyance was fairly indiscernible, as he continued yet again. “I still don’t know how long I was out, or where the other three are… Ultimately someone has their work cut out for them dealing with this, but I don’t think that person is me or Sirius.” Jen shifts his gaze to Dethrial. “Deth, if you think Rey and the others will come back soon, or you happen to know where to find them, please let us know. I think Sirius and I should get going soon.”

Rauj shrugs and slowly shakes his head nonchalantly after Dethrial attempts to bring their attention to the possible threat. "Trust me..." After he tells his tale of 'The Blue Raja', Dethrial explains his own people's story. "Huh, sounds interesting, dunno how that relates, but you'll have to tell me about it sometime." He looks over at sirius, still standing as she absolutely devours her meal and after raising his eyebrows in interest, he shrugs. He recounted the dream and Jen confirms it, then recounts the rest, to which the thief nods as he pops another potato into his mouth, filling in parts prior to jen's entrance as well as the odd moments where i which the doll seemed to posess some kinda sentinence.
"That's fine man, honestly i'm feeling the same way too honestly. Hopefully, this will gimme the lead i'm looking for so i'll stick around for a bit, but by all means do whatcha gotta do." He pause for a moment, a bit sorry to see them go after what they went through, but in his line of work, people come and go, it was only natural. He too, often found himself needing to do his own thing just as he was getting comfortable. The moment of regret passesthough and he focuses back on the task; "Really though Dethrial, where the heck are those guys? What happened while we were out?"

Dethrial listens to Jen and J speak about their story in full and nods while eating big bites of food and raises a eyebrow to Sirius devouring the steak like a wild thing. Seems like she runs on meat alone and those teeth look scary. Dethrial subconsciously moves his plate a way from her and watches her closely.
Dethrial then takes a big swig of his drink as Jen said Sirius would leave and almost chokes on it. "Wait, right now?" After clearing his throat Dethrial looks at Jen closely hearing the irritation in his voice. "Well the others went back to the academy to look for Kaavi and for some more info, and to anwser your question J the bandits just seemed to hit this place up outta random or maybe they knew what happened." After that Dethrial told them everything that had happened while they were asleep and finishes it with a quick note."J, I'll tell you story when ever we have some time. It's one of my favorites and I'm sure you'll like it too."

“Thank you,” Jen says somewhat solemnly, after J reassures him. “Ahh Deth, I doubt this’ll be the last time we meet. Fate has a funny way of dragging me around by the ankles.” He laughs heartily. Upon learning where the rest of the group was, and what all he and J had missed, Jen nodded. ”I see. Wait. They… They didn’t come back with any help?” Jen was a tad surprised that they hadn’t come back yet. Maybe something came up… Of course if anything did happen, Rey was more than capable of defending himself. If he was asking that severed head, Rey was a bit too good at defending himself. Jen resigned himself to finishing the rest of his plate while conversing with J and Deth.
As the group finishes breakfast, Jen gets up out of his seat and moves to shake hands with Deth. “Thank you for watching over us with Sirius. I hope the rest of the sights you see in your travels are pleasant. I’m interested to hear more about your people when we meet again! You’ll have to give my regards to Rey and the others.” Jen then looks over to J, and motions the same. “It’s not every day you run for your life in an unfamiliar world with someone you just met. We work pretty well together, y’know? Hopefully I have the pleasure of doing so again in the future… Without the out-of-body experience part.” With that, Jen took his plate and gave Sirius a gentle pat on the shoulder. “Time to head out, S” he says as he proceeds to the innkeeper’s table. “Thank you for breakfast, ma’am!” He calls out to the innkeep, as he wasn’t exactly sure where she went. As he nears the entrance, Jen turns his head to get one last look at J and Dethrial, before flashing a smile and waving goodbye. Fawn, you’ll need to meet these two someday. They’re something else.
