After deciding their course of action and both dolls being in agreement they move to opposite sides of the bed, each staring at the female doll in front of them. There is a certain kind of nervousness that settles in at the thought of touching her and perhaps the possible risk that comes with.
A brief moment passes and both Dolls get ready. They glance at each other to confirm.
They can't help but wonder what might happen, and both are equally worried and intrigued of the potential outcome.
Jen lifts his hand in a fist, ready to count to three.
He jerks his hand and lifts a finger.
...1
He repeats the motion again.
...2
And once more.
...3!
Both dolls grasp the hands of the female doll on their respective sides.
Almost immediately She opens her eyes and jerks in a twisted fashion and suddenly-
There is nothing.
Black... darkness... somehow consciousness. But nothing else.
Then a blinding light is followed by the sound of distorted static and an image appears as vivid as the real thing.
There is a ruined building.
They are in a bed of some sorts. No - A seat. Below their feet are various men and women wearing strange uniforms settled inside of seats built into the ground. They are all laying motionless in their respective seats. The vision blurrs somewhat and a door across the room opens up.
They raise their arms - human looking, a refreshing sight given the last few hours - to protect them from the burst of sunlight.
A shadowy figure emerges from the light shining through the door.
"Wunderbar. Zis is exactly vat we were hoping for." the figure says slyly as some men move past it and towards Jen and Rauj.
Their vision goes dark once again.
Another blinding burst of light brings them to another place.
This time they truly find themselves in a bed. They seem to be in a hospital of some kind.
They feel some kind of panic overtake them as they frantically look about the room and then down at their hands.
The sight of their cold metallic arms seems to further that panic into a near freakout as they try to crawl out of the bed.
They fall, and their vision goes dark once more.
Finally, a last bright blinding ray of light brings them to their last destination.
They wake up in another seat of sorts - a metal coffin in fact - in a familiar room. Though this room looks significantly cleaner and better maintained than the one they saw it is definitely the same place. This time they're unable to move, however they feel an incredible amount of clarity, knowledge, and somehow insight. Being able to sense thousands of people is extremely overwhelming but equally reassuring. For some reason, despite not being able to see much further than the coffin they know there are people in the room. A rather soft male voice rings out through the room in an echo. "Es true, my friend. And there are sure to be flaws but with this system you'll be able to take them out city by city."
Some low voice grumbles from around the corner. "You're very confident in this project, Artemis."
Suddenly an Alv steps into view, right in front of the metal coffin. He has light blue hair and a dark blue tattoo running down the side of his rather stunning looking pale feminine face. "'Course, 'Course general. We'll iron out the details la'er." the Alv speaks in his soft voice as he brings a wrench to the inside of the metal casing to make some final adjustments. "S'ell be ready by the end of the week. Ju's gotta wipe her memories one final time and e're good to go."
He fiddles around with something on the side of the box and the coffin slowly begins to close with a mechanical whir.
The Alv smiles confidently at Jen and Rauj as the coffin finally closes fully.
It's dark and the two are left to the thousands of people they can sense nearby.
Their vision subsides. A strong sense of comfort overtakes them and they suddenly feel incredibly exhausted.
