Unfortunately, Ismay misses a part of Dethrial’s remarks, merely catching the part about her apparent celebrity status. “The deeds of a knight affect those around them. Give cause for others to smile, and people will smile. Give cause to be despised, and they will despise you. Reap what you sow, if you will.” Perhaps that came across as less than humble, but there was truth in the words to her.
“Aw that’s sweet of you!” Ismay exclaims cheerfully. “Well you’re more than welcome to join us! Does someone know where you’re going, sir?” she asks, referring to him with genuine honorifics. The Knight had no qualms volunteering the group to help the boy, she just wanted to be sure she had permission to do so. Taking another look at the short, platinum-blonde child, he was in fact quite adorable. His oversized clothes coupled with strands of messy hair sneaking out of his hat, made Ismay want to adopt him on the spot. As the boy responds, Ismay looks about to see if she can identify who is watching over him, if anyone at all. She spots an elderly couple that seems to be looking in her direction. Ismay again, waves hello while her eyes follow a path to the woman’s less-than ecstatic husband. His expression pains her immensely, although she makes little to no sign of it. The Order wasn’t always received positively with people. In tandem with their general disconnect, some the Order’s knights were seemingly disconnected from any sort of empathy. It was a large part of what Ismay disliked about the organization. Humility and empathy were equally as important as raw strength. Knighthood was not about status. Not to Ismay.
After all, the knights were not gods. They were men.
Perhaps…
Perhaps she could change that negative aspect of the Order someday.
Someday…
Shrugging off her thoughts, Ismay looks back down at the boy with a pleasant smile, and waits for him to finish talking before deciding what to do.

The thief sighs, a bit disappointed with the lack of any new information, ignoring the alv's nudge, but relenting soon after, thanking the Knight for her assistance should the situation call for it. As they move on, he becomes more and more aware of his pace, purposefully attempting to keep it mild, though the entirety of his being feels somewhat constricted under the limelight of such authority. It was like having a handler of some sort. Still he keeps a rather mild composure as he moves on, instead focusing on the path, yet taking notice of the many figures watching the Royal Knight in particular with awe, one guard in particular shares a special salute Rauj took note of in case the situation called for it. He tries not to laugh as the Alv yet again makes an approach on a woman he's just met. It comes out as what sounds like sneeze. He excuses himself, but there's a smirk on his face that he tries to conceal by looking elsewhere.
As they pass through the high-class district, the thief becomes wary of the rather interesting child's approach and slows his pace as he addresses the group, his focus on Ismay. As she converses with him; Rauj looks the child over, finding his choice of clothing oddly charming, yet somewhat suspicious. Rauj takes particular note of his hair and eyes, swearing he's seen it somewhere before... He keeps it in the back of his mind as he lets the kindhearted knight take point on the over all decision. Merely going along with whatever choice she decides.
She agrees, clearly enamoured with the child's charm... "Charm? Hmm..." Rauj keeps this too tucked away as he follows up her questions stepping out from behind the Alv and crouching low, yet a fair distance away from, the little man. "Indeed! As long as you have permission, that's just fine." He nods, smiling, a much more restrained smile than when he was trying to pull info from the Knight earlier. Speaking of... He follows her gaze as she looks up and away from the child for a moment, towards the elderly couple. The woman seems cheery but the husband much less so. The thief slowly looks back towards Ismay to catch her reaction; smiling and waving despite the man's look of disdain. He found himself oddly impressed by her fortitude. He continues his conversation with the child after, "...By the way, what's your sister's name?"

Dethrial feels a bit unsure of what to do as Ismay seemed to either not hear him or be upset enough to not respond so he just drops the smile and replaces his face plate. Now safe in his iron home he frowns and wonder if he screwed up the wording or if was impolite in a whole now knowing she wanted nothing to do with him he makes a mental note to not try anything again. Damn, I don't even know how to talk to women here, if anyone Rey many know how...I'm going to ask Rey for advice for women. Great he's never going to let me live this down...maybe he'll keep quiet. Damn, how did Neilm fall for a fool like me, I'm so heavy handed with these things I should be more subtle. As the child tell the group that her wanted to see his sister looks past Ismay and comments on Dethrial's size, Dethrial not knowing what to do nods to the boy. After the parents wave the boy good bye to them and the groups moves Dethrial straightens his armor and clothing feeling like he need to keep a good appearance.
The child seems to ooze charm enough to make Dethrial drop his guard and had sway over Ismay which made a little red flag go up in his head. Is he's like Lyn a Succubus...I think but she had a charm about her too. Dethrial then moves closer to J and whispers I'm getting a bad vibe from that kid he's to charming...i think he's the same thing an Lyn and I'm not sure what to do, you have any ideas? After hearing J response Dethrial catches back up with Ismay and the child keeping a cool composer and slowing his heart beat encase the boy could tell something was wrong.

The kid cocks his head at the question and then sulks a little bit. "Actually... we don't have any parents anymore. My sis' says they got together with the wrong peeps."
Altho the kid looks rather sad initially he scratches the back of his head and smiles again. "But we do jolly well b'ourselves, tho!" he says and flexes one arm. "'nyway, shall we go?"

“I see, my sincerest apologies.” Ismay places a hand on the boy’s shoulder consolingly. She had grown up privileged... In becoming a knight, she was frequently reminded that those privileges came in more forms than money.
The gloom on the child's face lasts for only a moment. He quickly returns to his previous cheery self, and showcases his own strength. “Yes, I’m sure you both do exceptionally well.” Ismay replies amidst a soft chuckle. The Knight offers the boy her hand, and looks to Dethrial and J. “Thank you both for readily obliging this young man.” she says, indirectly acknowledging that she signed them up for something without much say. For her, things of this nature don't go unnoticed. “I'm ready to continue.”

The thief finds himself nodding slowly at the answer but still keeps his head about him noting that the child didn't answer his question. He slowly stands back up, which gives Dethrial a chance to give his opinion on the situation. Rauj glances at the Alv and shrugs, "We go along with it. Just keep your eyes open." He smiles seemingly at ease and nods in response to the child's bravado, "Good on ya. That's rather big of you two." Ismay thanks the pair for their compliance and the thief slowly shakes his head, "No need. We we're heading that way. The more the merrier." Rauj then continues to lead the way to the academy, still wary of the child but casually walking as if nothing was off at all.

The child's quaint accent and "keep moving forward" attitude struck Dethrial as more tools than aspects and knew that if his helmet was off he would be scowling at every word with every word discounted as poison. Dethrial stays close to J keeping his voice down while looking at the old couple waving them good bye "My theory is that the two older people are brainwashed or under his spell and that he happened to choose us to take him to the academy means he was waiting for one of us...I think he's a spy or an assassin." Dethrial moves away from J keeping his body language calm and moves towards the boy and when he gets behind him gives J a nod as he kneels down to talk to the boy in his warm voice. "Hello there sir, would you like to ride on my shoulders till we get there? I promise I won't let you fall and the view is top notch."

"Wonderful!" the kid answers Rauj and holds on to Ismay's hand until Dethrial stops in front of the kid to ask whether or not he would like to ride piggyback. Despite his best efforts to remain calm he gives off a very forced aura almost like he is trying too hard to conceal something. The kid cocks his head and frowns briefly. "uhh..." The kid can't help but feel a bit uncertain. "...mm, I think'll walk if it's all the same to ya..."
With that the group continues to make their way to the academy.

Hand in hand with the child, Ismay begins to follow J’s lead. Their progress is short lived however, as Dethrial stops to ask the kid if he would like to ride piggy-back. The proposition itself seemed innocent enough, though the delivery came off as somewhat stilted. The boy was left visibly apprehensive, opting to hold onto the lovely woman’s hand instead; a choice any young gentleman such as himself would make. Ismay gave a fleeting look of confusion at the other knight, but quickly dismissed it. There was much for the Alv to learn in the way of unspoken interactions, but now wasn’t the time to teach him. Should more instances of awkwardness occur, she’d be sure to address it, but for now the Academy took precedence.

With the kid in tow and thoughts of conspiracy creeping about the group they make their way to the Moreau Academy down the main street of the high-class district. As they move along the overall interest in the Knight starts to wane. Either people are starting to get used to the idea or they are simply more busy up here.
It doesn't take them very long to arrive at the gates of the Academy. The kid's face lights up in awe as they cross the academy grounds and it's exaggerated and extravagant paths, hedges, foliage, and fountains.
There are a few people walking about here and there, some chatting with one another, others minding their own interest. None of them seem of particular note.
Before too long the group approaches the main building and enters. Rauj and Dethrial recognize this to be the same building they were in the day prior.
Just as they enter they can hear a familiar voice yelling from down the hall; "DANCING!!!"
It is unsure where exactly the voice came from but it sounded very similar to Selene and drew the attention of a few of the students pacing the halls to the upper floors, presumably where the sound came from.
