It had been a long day for Giovanni, he had spent his morning doing as he usually does, helping Professor Maxwell with all of his test. In the afternoon, they tried using what they knew to bring a rat back from the dead using the slime that Giovanni was so interested in. However it just mutated into some monster and was quickly killed. Maxwell shakes his head and sighs, "I am now convinced that nothing good is going to come from using the slime. I knew that necromantic magic wouldn't be the key to figuring this out, but I was told to give your slime a chance and I did. Three years later and all we have to show is a pile of mutated rats and other test subjects. As the head of this research, I am terminating this line of research now. Please make a report about all we have learned about your slime and submit it General Felix. When you are done I want you to go to the graveyard where we have been dumping all of the failed subjects. I have been getting reports about something that has been living there but no one knows what it is. I need to start looking to were to go from here." He then leaves.
After that Giovanni spent countless hours making up the report about what he learned about the slime he has named Orgone. When he is done, he makes his way outside where the sun has almost completely set in the sky and the stars are easily seen. When he gets to the graveyard, there is a low fog that hovers over the ground like a carpet. There are still some of the gravestones that were originally there when the military got there but of them were removed and put into a pile. On the north side of the graveyard is a pit that was dug up where they put the failed subjects and burn them. From the pit, there is still some smoke rising out of it from todays failed subjects. On the south side, Giovanni can see a dark figure looming over one of the graves that still has a stone.

Giovanni let out an audible sigh as he watched the rat begin to mutate, the poor creature began to convulse and contort in unnatural ways, it's bones popping and cracking and it's fur shedding from it's skin. Before the transformation could finish, Maxwell killed and disposed of the creature and began barking orders at a visibly angry Giovanni. Upon the rat's death the small amount of slime used to mutate it burst from the body and returned to Giovanni, who was holding his hand out to let the slime seep back into his body through the pours in his palm. He could have at least let me finish, getting caught off guard like that still hurts like hell. Then again after all these years if he doesn't care by now I suppose he never will. Giovanni rolled his eyes at the complaints Orgone was channeling through his brain. "You'd think after all these years I wouldn't have to hear the same complaint every single day." Giovanni could tell that Maxwell was getting a bit more used to his talking to Orgone, which basically just looks like he is talking to himself, from an outside perspective. Still the man looked very tired of dealing with Giovanni, and after he barked his orders and walked out of the room Giovanni let out another sigh and got to work on the review that would be sent to Felix.
Well you heard him, be a good soldier and hop to it! "Shut it Orgone." Giovanni growled. "I'm not stepping one foot outside this facility until that sword I requested is in my hands!" Giovanni opened the door and stepped outside the lab so he could begin finding his way to the R&D section of the facility. He muttered under his breath the whole way, occasionally talking to himself, occasionally talking to Orgone, and more than occasionally earning irritated and confused glances from whatever coworkers he passed in the halls. Once he reached the R&D department he was greeted with yet more irritated expressions, such as sighs and eyerolls. One of the men in the room cautiously approached him with what would appear to be a specially crafted sword within a rectangular sheath. "You followed my specs exactly as I presented them, right?" the man nervously nods, and Giovanni takes the sword from his hands. Giovanni then leaves the room, holding the sheath the sword is contained in as he makes his way out of the facility. Oh great, you got your toy. You know I hated that experiment, right? I'd rather not pursue it any further. Besides I fail to see- "You know how this works by now. Just 'kuz you have a voice up there doesn't mean you get to call the shots. I'm still curious about how your body works, so if I form a theory we ARE going to test it." Giovanni exclaims to himself as he passes by some onlookers in the halls of the facility on his way to leaving, as Maxwell had commanded.
The bickering with Orgone continues for a little while until Giovanni reaches the graveyard he was informed of. He stops to inspect the sword he had brought with him for a minute before swinging the straps of the sheath around his torso to fasten the sword firmly to his back. Once one half of the strap was brought over his right shoulder and the other under his left arm, he clicked a buckle together to hold it in place and began searching the graveyard until he found the mysterious figure he was informed of. Giovanni stood motionless for a few moments to examine the creature, but after a few moments he realized the figure was simply standing at a gravestone and staring at it. Giovanni slowly made his way to the opposite side of the gravestone in order to get a look at the creature's face. It doesn't look human. I'm not sure how Maxwell will take that.

Its vision slow fades in. Looking down at its hands which were covered in metal and blood. Wha... It thinks. It has no recollection of anything. The blood on the gauntlets slowly seeps through the slight gaps of the metal. Its head slowly moves left to right. Scanning the area. Attempting to understand anything. Unfortunately it doesn't. "Where...?" It says. Its voice deep and hollow. It has a slight feeling of familiarity through from the area surrounding it. It hears a soft caw coming from its left. It slowly turns. The sound of metal and gravel come from under its feet. It looks down to see its feet covered in metal as well. Grieves. A goldish brown tint. It looks at its tattered cloths. Taking in everything that it actually is. Then it continues to turn until it sees the origin of the noise. What is... bird...raven...feathers... It though to itself, but there were other voices. It looked around at s slightly faster pace. Attempting to see where they were coming from. This gave it a better view of the area, but also brought on more voices. Death...sadness...mourning...loss... More and more came but it couldn't see anything. Some voices louder than others. Again the raven caws. It turns back to see it on a gravestone. This time however there was more than one. One looked up. It followed suit. In the sky were about fifteen more raven circling the creature. All displaces through out the sky, but making a circle none the less. This made it irritated. Annoying... It looked back at the two birds still perched. It swings its left hand through the ravens to scare them off, but they just dissipate into smoke. Then reform. The smoke pours from its left gauntlet and reshapes the birds. Together...us...one... The creature sighs in defeat lowering its head to look at the stone. It begins the read the name. V...E...K... It stops as most of the birds begin to caw and fade away. It looks up as they blow away with the wind. As if they were never there to begin with. It can hear something from behind. This thing was making the same sound it made when it moved. Footsteps. Cautiously. The two birds on the stone faded as well. A moment passes at whatever this thing was is now standing a few feet from it. Looking in it's direction. Its head slowly rises to see a man. Scientist...killer...insane...don't trust... The voices say. It doesn't understand though. It just stands there looking at the man. Motionless and without a sound. Waiting.

A few moments of silence pass between the two while Giovanni examines the creature from a distance in a vain attempt to learn more about it. "It doesn't seem too hostile for the moment." Mutters Orgone. Giovanni doesn't respond, as he is too busy attempting to examine from a distance. After even more time passing by in awkward silence, Giovanni decides to take a few steps closer to the creature. At first he had been assuming the hood was hiding the creature's face, but upon realizing that the creature does not, in fact, have a face he raises an eyebrow and tilts his head curiously. "No physical form?" he says aloud, though seemingly for his own benefit. "Or is your armor hiding it?" He mutters once again for himself. After a few more moments of close examination of the creature and his attire, Giovanni finally takes note of the drop in temperature and takes a step back. "What's wrong?" Orgone inquires upon noticing Giovanni's sudden reluctance. "You can't feel that?" He asks in return. "Can't feel what?" Giovanni scratches his chin a bit and takes a step forward once again. Feeling the chilled air around the creature made him a bit uneasy, but he was still curious to learn more about it.
"Can you speak?" Giovanni suddenly asked the creature, finally acknowledging it's presence outside of his initial cursory examinations. "Do you have a name?" he continued. Though while speaking, Giovanni held his left hand stretched out to the side, his palm facing up towards the sky while he spoke to the creature. While his attention remained focused on the creature in front of him and the conversation he would hopefully initiate, his left hand began to secrete some of the slime from Orgone. After a few short moments, a small palm sized, black slime had formed in his hand, with two tiny glowing green eyes. "So you're just not gonna fill me in, then?" Orgone muttered with a sigh.

It just stares at this...this man. All the while the voices are spouting this and that about who and what he sees. He takes it in. Remembering everything to a point. The man seems to be doing the same. Its head perks up when the man speaks. Almost curious to what he has to say. Physical form? Solid...alive...being. Armor hiding? It thinks. The voices adding their thoughts. It was something he couldn't control. He looks down at his hands. Covered by metal. He looks at his palms. Armor. Protection...safety...heavy...cold... Its head slowly moves once again scanning its hands and forearms. However when the man steps back its head cocks up quite quickly. Feel...? His head tilts to the right. Two of the ravens form on the stone again. Both looking at the man. It was confused at what the man said. When the man asks if he can speak it nods yes slowly like his previous actions. However when asked about a name it didn't know what to say. "Naaaammmmmeeeee...." It says in a dragged out voice. The voice of the creature was deep. Inhumanly deep. Its tone was slightly rattled. It was something that made you uncomfortable to hear. As if it wasn't from this world.
Several more ravens landed. On the other stones. Trees. Even the ground. All looking at the man. By this time he would be surrounded. Upwards of about twenty filled the area around them. It watched at the man held his hand off to the side. When the eyes formed it looked back and forth from those eyes and the man's. It reached up to where its face was to find that in fact nothing was there, but it could see, smell and hear. This was the first real emotion it had. Sadness. It felt loss. Of something it had. Or did it? Once again it was looking down at its palms. "What...am I...?" Monster...DEMON...devil...monster... Its tone was still raspy but this time not as deep. Its tone had changed slightly as if it just woke up. Starting off low. It realized by this time it didn't answer one of the man's questions. It looked back up at the man. "My...name...?" It looked around at the birds which turned their heads to look at him as he scanned the flock. Going back to looking at the name when its gaze had shifted to another. It ended up looking back at the gravestone. It read 'Vekani Dalca'. "Vek...ani..." It said. "V...E...K..." It looks back up at the man. "Vek..." One of the ravens behind the man begins to caw. Only slightly but enough to be noticeable.

There is a few moments of silence as Giovanni takes in the creature before him and the crows that have surrounded him. Before any one of them say or do anything, they can hear the gate to the graveyard screech as someone opens it slowly but then slams it shut. Then out of the fog comes a young scientist named Isabella Jaminson. Maxwell had assigned her to work with Giovanni and to aid him in anything he needed. She slowly walks over to the two are standing. She gasps in shock when she looks at Vek but doesn't do anything in fear of making it attack. She moves her shaking hand and hands Giovanni a written letter. "Doctor Maxwell asked me to give you this and to aid you in your investigation..."
The letter reads:
Giovanni,
"I am sorry for my actions earlier. I did not mean to just out and shut down everything you were working on. I know you are rather fixated on the slime so I am willing to make a deal. You can do all the research and testing you wish, just so long as it is on the weekends. I am going to ask some of the work boys to clean up sublab 5 for you to use. I hope this will cast any negative feeling aside so we can work together like partners again. I will be doing another all nighter, so if you need anything, please come by and ask. If I don't see you, then I will in the morning."
Isabella stands there unconformably while Giovanni reads the note. She then moves closer to Vek reaching out with her and to poke his arm with her pointer finger. She then stops when she feels the temperature difference and waits to see if that means it is going to harm her before she moves back to Giovanni. "What is that?"

Giovanni listens as the creature makes a slow bumbling mess out of it's introduction, though he doesn't judge the creature for it instead he remains silent and allows the creature to slowly get it's supposed name out. As he was about to respond they are suddenly interrupted by a woman who comes charging into the graveyard. Giovanni lets out a small sigh under his breath and swipes the letter out of her hand with his free hand when she offers it. He lifts his opposite hand up to allow the tiny slime to slide onto his shoulder, freeing up his other hand so he is free to open and read the letter. It takes him only a few moments to skim the letter before returning his attention to the woman. "Ha ha ha! What on earth is she doing!? Get a load of this amateur!" Orgone chuckled a bit, and the slime on Giovanni's shoulder seems to jiggle a bit in tandem with the laughter. Giovanni did not find it quite as amusing though, he quickly dropped the letter and reached out to grab her wrist. "What exactly do you think you're doing?" Giovanni let go of her wrist when he was sure she was no longer going to poke the creature. "Is this how you plan to assist me? By POKING things!?" Giovanni suddenly slides closer to her, getting up in her face as his next words slide from his mouth with all the comfort of a snake's hiss. "Because if so, let me know now so I can come up with a much better use for you..." Giovanni suddenly flashes an unsettling grin her way and lifts up a hand bubbling with black slime. "Orgone might turn you into something new, and interesting." "Well now I guess she'll worry more about us than that thing...Vek was it? ...Nice job?" After he was sure she had gotten the point, Giovanni pulled away from her and returned his attention back to the creature....Kinda...
Giovanni stepped closer to the creature and held his hand out once again to allow the slime on his shoulder to slide back down to his palm into the cool air around the creature. "Can you feel it now that part of you is out here?" A few moments of silence passed, even up in Giovanni's head. "I'm really not sure what you're so obsessed with making me feel. I'm trying, but I've got nothing." The slime soon sank back into Giovanni's palm before he turned his attention back to the creature for real this time. "So...Vek..." He said with a level of uncertainty. "What information can you share with...us?" Giovanni shoots the girl a quick glare before returning to Vek. "How long have you been here?"

Vek's still looks on at the man as the graveyard gate swings open some feet behind him. The RAVENS however all shift in the direction. A few hop on Vek. One on his head and two others. One for each shoulder. All watching as young girl with slightly similar clothing enters. The birds turn and watcher her. Once she has reached the old man Vek can finally see her face and the shocked expression. Fear...Fear... The voices say. Scared...afraid... This is actually an emotion Vek does understand, but he doesn't know why. He watches her hand something to the man. Then follows her movements as she reaches to touch him. His head follows her hand as she reaches then makes contact with her finger. He felt a slight pressure but only for a second. Before she was pulled away by the man. Vek observes everything the man does. Taking in his voice tone down the his body language and movements. This must be how this man communicated. The girl did it differently. Once the man was finished he turns his attention back to Vek who's head was tilted slightly. Almost in a position that showed curiosity to the situation. Once the man steps forward Vek notices the substance on one part of the man was now moving down to his hand. Vek began to step around the gravestone so nothing was blocking him from anyone else. Ravens still perched on him. He does the only thing he has seen thins man to communicate. He gets right in the man's face. He steps forward at quite a normal pace. Stopping only about six or seven inches from the man. Giving him the opportunity to gaze into the void under his hood. Vek slowly raises his right hand and proceed to poke the left side of the man's chest. However he holds his finger there once he has done it. He stares at the man for a good twenty seconds. Almost an eternity of silence. "I...just woke up..." Is the only real answer he could give having just potentially regained consciousness. "What about...you?"

Isabella winces as Giovanni yells and threatens her. This isn't the first time this has ever happened, far from it. It wouldn't be considered a normal day for her unless the man did that, however she still wasn't used to such treatment. Maxwell and the others were always so kind and understanding but this man had the manors of a mule's ass. She let out a sigh. "I-I am sorry Sir. I-I was just wanting to make sure what was in front of me and you wasn't just an illusion. You know that the slightest touch will shatter the illusion. And there is no need to use your...slime on me. I think we both know nothing good will come from that."
She then jumps a bit when Vek quickly steps in front of Giovanni. Not wanting to interrupt this, she moves to the pit and looks done at the bodies that are still smoking from the fire. She couldn't help but shake her head and wipe some of her tears away. The human subjects down there, she had gotten to know each one of them. When she isn't with Giovanni, she is in the medical bay try to keep the men they got alive before the experiments and after. She always tried to keep them comfortable and smiling even though the men and women here knew that they were going to die. She looks down at the clipboard she always carries and crosses out five more names off of the list. Names of the men that didn't survive the experiment after they died.

Giovanni leans back a little when Vek leans forward. Being fairly unaware of how his own actions must have looking from the outside, it doesn't yet occur to him that the creature was mimicing his behavior. Giovanni takes a step back and clears his throat a bit before responding. "Just woke up, huh?" he decides to set aside the cavalcade of questions that entitles and instead turns his attention back to Isabella. He walks over to her after she had finished mourning the bodies in the pit and taps her on the shoulder to demand her attention. "Assistant, I have a task for you." He lowers his voice in an attempt to keep Vek from hearing his scheme. "It doesn't seem hostile. I want to see if we can get him back to the lab for some tests. You job is to return ahead of us, and inform the higher-ups of our arrival so they can prepare the appropriate facilities for it." Once he finished speaking he turned away from her, only to hear Orgone chime in and stop in his tracks. "If you send me with her, I can make sure it's done before you arrive. Assuming you won't need me for anything while you're here of course." After stopping Giovanni turns back to the woman and holds his hand out once again to summon a bit of slime in it. Without a single word to her he plops the palm sized glob of slime onto her shoulder, which then stares up at her with it's glowing green eyes. Giovanni turns away once again, only to stop yet again and turn back to her. "Oh...keep it away from extreme heat. Fire, electricity, anything of the sort. It's a small glob, but still... you might not have an arm after if you do." Giovanni pantomimes an explosion with his hands and makes a small 'boom' noise before turning away from her and putting his attention back on Vek.
"So, Vek, tell me. If you just woke up, how long have you been sleeping?" Giovanni inquires.

As the man leans back Vek does so in kind. His moments as usual are a bit slower, but still he mimics everything he sees. He nods at what the man says. Slowly. Once the man walks to the woman Vek again scans the area. There isn't much more he can take in visually so he decides to move towards the other two. His foot steps this time aren't as fast as they were a minute ago. It seems so only move quick if it needs to. Once Vek reaches them he notices the man was whispering to the woman. He then makes as motion to her that Vek them preforms (the boom). Though he doesn't know what this means he will use it later. The man suddenly snaps to him. Again asking him questions. Ones he doesn't know the answers to. Vek turns to the man and once again stares at him. After a few seconds Vek surprisingly does a motion he has yet to see, but knows how to do. He shrugs. "I can't say..." He raises his right hand and puts his finger in the hood about where a chin would be. He thinks. Then realizes what he just did. He looks up at the man. Then at the woman. He notices she looks a bit unhappy. He sees a few names on the object she is holding crossed out. Vek looks to the bodies. He steps next to the woman. His presents alone would make anyone uncomfortable. He looks at her. "They...they know it wasn't your fault..." He raises his hand and points like Death pointing at it's next victim. He slowly moves it horizontally at the voices react to each one he points at. "That one...thanks you for your kindness...the next knows you would of stopped it if you could...the other always loved your smile..." He turns back to her. "Assistant...it wasn't your fault. They know that..."

Isabella lets out a small sigh as Giovanni refers to her once again as 'assistant'. She nods at what his marching orders, "I will make sure to get a lab ready for you. I will also be sure to let Maxwell know as well seeings how he wanted a report about the.." She looks over at Vek for a moment, but then looks back at Giovanni. "...about Vek." She is about to leave when she sees Giovanni turn back around to drip that slim on to her shoulder. She visibly shakes as it squishes on to her and she feels its wetness seeping into her lab coat.
She turns to leave only to feel Vek. She sees that if he were to have face, his eyes would be looking at her clipboard. She holds it to her chest, to hide the names just incase. She is then taken by surprise at what it says. Isabella then quickly turns to see who he is point at and a few tears rolls down her face as she listens to what he says. When Vek is done speaking, she turns and quickly removes her glasses to wipe her eyes. She then looks at Vek with confusion and sadness. "H-How do you know all of that? Normally I would think that you were just lying to make me feel better, but I know you're not. Each of the people you pointed out told me themselves what you just told me." She then steps closer to Vek, ignoring how uncomfortable his presence was making her feel, to look deeply under his hood were his face should be as she waits for her answer.

After Vek was unable to give Giovanni an answer he was about to prepare another question for the creature, but it suddenly wandered off to Isabelle to talk to her. Giovanni had stepped away from her just enough to not quite hear what Vek was saying to her, and seeing her standing around after he had given her orders was starting to irritate him quite a bit. After taking a step forward, ready to approach and scold her, Orgone's voice suddenly popped into his head. "Hey...Give her a minute, she needs it." Giovanni, clearly frustrated, took a step back and began to angrily mutter under his breath. "Why? Why should I care what she wants if she's going to shirk the responsibilities I gave her?" Orgone sighs a bit, and the bit of slime on Isabelle's shoulder slumps a little bit, as if exhausted by something. "Your emotional ineptitude is so tiring... Vek just told her something, and she needs a minute to collect herself. It's not always about what you want." Giovanni growls a little and begins to walk forward again, this time speaking to Orgone a little less quietly. "The only thing that matters is results. She can worry about dealing with emotional trauma when she's not on my time." The slime on her shoulder slumped a bit more, almost seeming like it was melting, before perking itself back up so it doesn't slide off her shoulder. "Vek clearly isn't running away. You're clearly on a very forgiving schedule." Orgone's words seem to have fallen on deaf ears as Giovanni charges forward.
"Assistant! Did I say stick around and wallow in pity, or did I say hoof it back to the labs?!" Giovanni growls angrily as he stomps towards her. "Being associated with you is exhausting..." Giovanni quickly barks in response to Orgone's criticism. "Shut it, Orgone!"

Vel looks down at the girl. Then me moves his hand off from pointing at the bodies and points to himself. "They are...in me." He looks back to the bodies. "I can hear them... All of them." He looks back at the girl and raises his other hand. Again he doesn't know why he was doing it. He just felt he had to. He gently pats her on the head. Something he feel like he has done in the past. Or has he? His head shifts off to the side. A movement that would look as if he was trying to remember why he was doing it. His hand slowly lifts off her and rests back at his side. He looks up at the man when he barks at the girl once more. "Run alone...Isabella..." He says still looking at the man. "We...will be fine." Vek begins to walk up the small ditch. The upper half of his body slumps slightly with every step. As if something heavy rested on his back pushing down every time.
When he reaches the man he is once again only a foot or so away from him. He looks at him. Something by this short time the man should have grown accustom to. His right hand begins to rise as one of the ravens quickly flies between them. Vek's hand snaps up surprisingly fast as he catches the creature. It flails and screams as he begins to squeeze it. Oddly enough there was no crack of bones or anything. The bird lets out one more screech as his grip tightens and crushes it. It poofs into smoke and seeps back into his gauntlet. The whole time Vek's gaze never left the man. Funny enough the same bird reforms on his right shoulder. Turning to look at the girl. "What is Orgone...?" Vek asks with slight curiosity. (At this time if Giovanni moves Vek will follow him subconsciously if you want to get going.)

Isabella is shocked at what she hears. She wants to question Vek, so she can understand how he could have the men in the pit inside of him but the thought if asking slips her mind as Vek raises his hand. Being too used to Giovanni's swings, she flinches but stands there. She is surprised to feel the man just petting her head. She looks at Vek with shock, confusion and warmth. She again wishes to say something but is cut off by Giovanni yelling at her. Any joy she had been feeling quickly dies. "I wasn't wallowing in my pitty...." She is cut off by Vek speaking to her. She nods and bow at him before running out of the graveyard.
Once again, the two men are alone.
